Inlet static pressure ratio effect on vortex structure downstream of the flameholder in subsonic–supersonic mixing flow

چکیده

The flow field characteristics downstream of the evaporative flameholder in subsonic–supersonic mixing were experimentally investigated. study focused on examining effects different inlet static pressure ratios characterized by supersonic and subsonic parameters. results indicated that increase ratio enhanced fragmentation multiple vortices located mainstream. It also exacerbated asymmetry recirculation zone strengthened tendency fluid to from one vortex another. regions with higher vorticity mainly concentrated shear layer between mainstream subsonic–subsonic region flameholder. Furthermore, an widened range peak distribution while reducing magnitude peaks. exhibited four distinct changes structure as increased 1.07 1.96. These typical observed are follows: asymmetric dual-vortex structure, single (away region), (near region).
